I don't think it's worth worrying about, how often do you see similar incidents in track or road racing?
-
• #8278
Trackies and roadies don't crash as often as poloista's... Do they?
And +1 for not touching eyeballs.

• #8279
How about licking eyeballs?

Why?

I guess a RS8 x-type uno is going to be cheaper than an RS8 x-type 4 arm + chainring +bashguard.
So maybe I'll start with that, I've got enough other things I'm going to be buying (see the current projects thread)

I think a 4 arm is good cause you can keep a micro drive with a small inner ring and just use a lightweight guard to protect it. 3/32 would reduce weight further as would smaller sprocket on rear.
Either way, cranks are awesome! £££

MAX, just now.

So cute... Not Max...

Uno chainrings are also close to 50 quid a pop...

Why's it old technology snoops? The x type is for hollowtech bb's not square taper or oct. They seem to be up to date with the best of cranks.

• #8294
Snoops' LX cranks are old tech.

5 guys in an industrial unit

Fair point Jimmy, doesn't hurt to ask.

5 guys in an industrial unit
Fucking faceless conglomerates
-
• #8298
5 now? Admittedly haven't spoken to them in a while. The owner and head engineer are both super nice guys so a phone call can often reap rewards emails and order forms don't...

The rear dropouts on my Kona are wack… way out of parallel. Chain tensioning is tricky, and it's likely doing my hub no good. Puny attempts at cold-setting proved fruitless. What's a poor boy to do?

Speak to ryan of Oakcycles, see what he can do for you.

What if you got your eyeball caught in your chain? You'd need to touch it then
