  • Sorry everyone, slightly OT.

I need advice. My 1950's Rolex Explorer stopped working. Rolex quoted £670 to fix it. It has come back untouched and Rolex have said that the watch is to old to be fixed. I king of half expected this.

It has stopped working in the past and I have used a random bloke of the interweb. The watch worked for around 8 - 10 months but then stopped again. Plus it cost around £300.

Does anyone know if the watch can be saved? If so a contact or something?? Much appreciated. It would be a shame to chuck it out.

  • Anyone after a Casio G-Shock? Found this seller on eBay with selling a lot of only this model:

I don't know if it's legit but they are selling really fast. Only 18 left.

I have a g-shock. They're sweet watches if you get the right colour scheme..I was given a bright yellow and blue one. Its a little rank.

  • I wouldn't know how to operate a watch like that.

    £20 though... wow.

  • I was going to chance it for 20 quid but looks like he's been blocked already.

  • there doesnt appear to be anything about him being blocked

on the rolex repairing issue i am amazed that they would say that a watch is too old to be repaired.
i can speak to somebody that i know if you get stuck.

    sorry if i missed something.

  • If you try and buy it says he's not able to receive payments at the moment.

  • i see. sorry.

  • I think everyone should own at least 1 g shock.
    I got a 13yo beat counter g'mix (gym/swim) and a massive GX56 (daily/ riding)
love them, quite fancy getting an analogue one too

  • I bought a pair of those black G-Shocks from him yesterday, it seemed to go through OK. Problem with his paypal acct?

    Might be a scam .. we'll see.

  • That model comes in this colour scheme, but he told me he had only the black/orange combo.

  • You'd have to be some sort of cunt to wear a kettle like that

  • Confirmed cunt here.

they are excellent watches...really, you can't knock the casio g-shock

  • raises hand
    Yup, another cunt here...

  • There's a Casio in Present...encased in leather and about the size of a CD, £500 and fuckin hideous!

  • I actually really like this one:

Stupidly tough, with a solar panel on the back charging the battery, and constant sync to radio atomic clocks.

Can't think of a better watch to wear for knocking about
