Hi rodrigo,
I have a similar Timex to ed's. I have this one.
The straps are 20mm wide.
The buckle strap is 8cm long, and the notched strap is 12cm.Hope that helps.
Hi Arrogah,
Thank you very much. That helps a lot. Could you also tell me its buckle width? That's also important because they come in a wide variety, mostly 18mm or 20mm. You can see it in picture 3 at the link I posted.

Oh, BTW the blue dial version is awesome. I love blue dial watches. I used to own a vintage Tudor Sub with blue dial.

Hello edscoble,
I've just purchased a Timex T2N389 in London and it'll probably take some time to arrive since I'm in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
I understand you own one, right? I'm searching for a rubber band replacement because I do not like the stock one. For that I need 2 key measurements: distance between lugs (where band is attached to the case) and buckle width, measured from pinhole to pinhole. I've contacted the seller asking for that but he doesn't have the watch in his hands.
Would you kindly help me on that?
Please check figures 1 and 3 at http://www.watch-band-center.com/shop2/index.php?user=watchstrap&weiteres=9
Thank you very much.
Cheers,
Rodrigo

Thanks, always wanted a pocket watch, got it for my sisters wedding, never used it since
Had a couple of people asking how much, I only paid £30 for it last year, but eBay isn't getting near that.
If anyone wants to make me an offer, feel free. -

Unfortunately while IWC create great watches they fall into the bracket of fashion accessory, which means they automatically slap about 10k onto what their watches actually cost to make. This means that knobbers with a little more money than sense will pay for 'exclusivity' and shell out for what they believe sets them apart from the proles. This is of course a false investment. However if it keeps people happy then well done IWC for making a vast profit on what are essentially lovely watches created at a fraction of their retail price.
Rubbish. In the WIS world, IWC are highly regarded. I believe some of their current range leaves a little bit to be desired in the looks department but they are an excellent brand.
And isn't the idea of running a business to make a profit? How much does the regular t-shirt cost to make? It is all relative..
