And no liquids from outside over 100ml.
What if your small packed lunch contains a 500ml bottle of water??
-
• #153
That no liquids thing over 100ml - you're taking the piss, right?
No safe bike parking at the grounds is bullshit alright. So much for this being the most green olympics ever. In fact, I heard recently on the radio that all the ticket printing contract was given to an American company - so ALL the tickets get printed over there, then flown over here. Ridiculous.

Is McDonald's food?
Food for stupid people.

^yur, also the company contracted to supply the medals has all sorts of dubious connections and associations with terrible deeds and an awful record of human rights abuses, mining-wise

• Alcoholic beverages; drinks in glass bottles or in plastic bottles that are larger than 500ml
-
• #157
^ are those the actual regulations on what we're allowed/not allowed?
-
• #158
i think it is what we are not allowed.
that said its only implicit that we are allowed non-alcoholic drinks under 500ml in a plastic bottle

Seems like a rip-off. Who wants to watch overpaid millionaires, like that Steve wiggins with the stupid hair, riding around a circle and falling off and crying like babies? Downhill is better, at least they have skills.
-
• #163
Wigguns really does have crap hair ^

And if Lance Armstrong is so good, why isn't he riding it?
-
• #165
He's still consulting for NASA's Mars mission.
-
• #166
And the welsh bloke with the funny chin who came 1st in the tour de France, why isn't he riding it? Seems like you're paying an awful lot of money just to see a load of nearly men.

That's pretty impressive BBC coverage, over 6 hours on 1+2 over the weekend!
I've got tickets for sat, I was sure I only bought the morning session, but on the ticket it says 900-16:40! I'm not sure my wife and 15 month old boy will last an hour let alone 8 hours. Do others have the same??? -

Womens Pursuit starts @ 9am ends with mens omnium pursuit at 16.45pm.
I take it you have a ticket for your little boy. The WC is operating the same as the olympics with a ticket for every person incl babies.
-

He has got a ticket yes, not sure how well he'll do sitting still though!
