Anyone know a professional pilot? Ie. Someone who flys for a living? Or is there an off-chance we have a pilot or two on the forum?
I've got a pilot's license from Washington State but I've never flown for a living. My wife's best friend's brother is a professional pilot living in Thailand. I don't know him though.
Question answered, not very helpful.

Alright, let me re-phrase the question, can anyone introduce me to a professional pilot, or if someone is a professional pilot, can we meet for a chat/beer?

How much gear do you need to shift? Might be easier to use a boat.

Is the following combination a possibility and/or a good idea?
On-one Bingo Bullhorns

Shimano Altus V-Brake/ Quickfire Shifter Combo

Easton Cork Bar Tape
http://s.wiggle.co.uk/images/easton%20bar%20tape.jpg?w=350&h=350&a=7I want to put the lever/shifters in the middle, to have the shifting/braking position of a flat bar but with additional hand position of the bullhorns. On-one say the Bingo accepts MTB levers, so the diameter should be fine, but will there be enough of a gap to fit the levers/shifters in between the oversized bit in the middle and the curve at the ends?

A) Probably not.
B) Probably yes.Don't know if it helps, but apparently hypnosis at gigs is 100% fake. I chatted to two people who were told to just follow along.
Not true, my ex was hypnotised on stage at her grad ball. She remembered singing a silly song and felt she was expected to do it as she didn't want to 'fail' in front of an audience, however, she was unaware of this next part:
The very drunken student 4 chairs away from her vomited onto his neighbour, getting a good wave of sick over her very pretty ballgown. Sickboy was woken by the hypnotist and promptly went mental, chasing the hypnotist around the stage before being wrestled to the floor by security (he'd been being a drunken nob all night). Sickgirl (currently unaware of the tide of vom coating her arm) was then woken by the hypnotist, attempted to slap him and promptly burst into tears. Most of the 'hypnotised' students remained sat in their chairs, seemingly oblivious, my ex being one of them.
There's probably a better use for hypnosis, but that was a wicked show, albeit over quite quickly.

am i going to feel a noticeable difference between a 53 tooth and a 50 tooth chainring?
Yes, it's roughly equivalent to a 1 tooth change on the sprocket for the ordinary range of ratios. Whether it's worth the money depends on what problem you think it will solve.

Yeah right, I can just see the pilot wasting time on the forum at work while the plane proceeds on autopilot, with the passengers blissfully unaware. :)
