  • It re-studded the tyres with ease.

  • Yes, Hugo, I have found it, but haven't bought it yet :-) No, seriously - I've found a source of Mavic wheels with Alfine hubs in Saxony.
I doubt I'll get it before April, though.

Apols for rubbish non drive side pic.

  • Bike like this one just want to be ridden!

  • I love Ti. my touring bike

Spectrum for light touring by a tanz, on Flickr

  • Spectrum is stunning but surely Tubus Airy would be more appropiate for a superlight touring bike, that nitto affair looks fairly flimsy

  • the Airy is nice but it doesn't allow much fore/aft adjustment. the chainstays are kinda short for panniers and the Nitto allows a bit more movement. it lasted 600 miles in 7 days across the hills of Pennsylvania on 23c tires!

  • now for sale, but still mine atm was Crane's

  • kocmo CX. ultegra bits. rigida edco tvm team edition wheelset

  • My daily. Airbourne Mahattan Project.

  • #scobledthread

  • A bit of "love" to the steering compartment at that could go to porn in my oppinion. Lust!

  • Reminds me I need to take a good photo of mine. Will post one soon. I want another one I love my road bike so much. Not in what form though.

At the Hell of the North last year.

  • Question: For those of you with experience of both SS and Ti which would you choose if you could only have one? You needn't go too indepth on the pros vs cons but at the end of the day whoch did you prefer? Hope to get something swanky soon and can't decide between the two...

It's not a case of one verses t'other, each are useful for different applications. Also depends of what grade of Ti or Stainless

  • Hmm... I've been hankering after the IF SSR for a very long time but I'm just not 100% it's the perfect choice...

If I was going american boutique, I'd go Strong personally. I love his work.

My 'top of the list' Ti frame would be a Litespeed Archon T1. Silly amounts of technology, and cost going into making a Ti frame as stiff and light, as a carbon frame of a fraction of the cost. Bonkers, but I love it.

An interesting option is these guys. Pretty big over there. Unheard of over here. But they do all the modern features you could want, in any material you want, and with amazing finishing options.
