  • I see, smart

  • exactly as he said, especially when the front end is fully loaded.

took the tout terrain off my list as I don't think it's that useful a touring bike compared to the Thorn Sherpa, the best advantage is the integrated rack which kept the weight down and prevent too much flex under load.

  • Front mudguard can>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Also, clipless on the snow? It's got brakes so I'd far rather use flats so that if when it slides I could get a foot down quickly.

  • Snow, especially wet snow, can jam up full mudguards. I've removed mine for winter, and will put a similar set-up to that, on when I get around to it. Just need to dig them out.

Clipless in the snow is a matter of taste. I like to be clipped in.

  • That ugly long haul trucker up there... I am going to build something very similar. Does anyone have any background on it? I'd love to see the component spec.

I have a massive problem on my hands... I've just seen this:

NEED! I can sell a bike and have almost half the money required for that... Rohloff 14 disc with Schmidt dyno and light... in shitting RED~! Have a l;ook at it! Black bike, red bits. Gah!

  • Refresh for this daily commuter for one my brother

Atala with "bacchette" brakes and 26" wheels

  • Frankly that's just a little silly.

    This.

I went clipless during our snowy winter. If you've got mtb shoes then you can easily ride with your shoes unclipped for the sketchy bits. But I can see the good reasons against it too.

You need to clear your cleats regularly, and be prepared to not be able to clip-in. I froze some quattro cleats to some eggbeater pedals a few years back. Still gives me a heart flutter, each time I have slight unclipping delays.

Getting Mallets for the Fatbike. As I have candys on the commuter and fancey a little more platform.

  • weido

  • hipster stayer.

    that felt is shit.

  • how is this green abomination functional? ... just some hipster troll putting random stuff on an ugly build

  • It works for lulz.

  • ^ repped

  • dark green bike got brands everywhere.. Frame isn't ugly though.. could be build up nicely.

  • could have the forks turned 'round the right way

  • Wouldn't be a fakyer if it was.

  • Is that a huge dent in the downtube?

  • or are you just pleased to see me?

  • "You must spread some Reputation around..."

  • I bet it handles, as well as a brakeless track bike with a square meter of front rack attached.

    Just saying.

  • Urban stayer.

    Drafting mopeds since 2011.

  • It's always a pissing match with those two.
