Picked this up from eBizzle last night.
Hopefully I wont bodge it together half arsed and will actually take my time building it up relatively nicely. Will be my first build so I am both scared and excited. Decided it was time for something a little more personal rather than an off the shelf cheapo.

good luck with that... if you are planing fixed, it looks like it would take 27" or 700 with huge tyres. Also the drop-outs look like the cheap bendy type, not ideal. But would build up as a nice tourer, mudguards, pannier etc

Is the logic for having the top tube horizontal and so unbelievably low, to lower the bike's centre of gravity? If so how much can a TT weigh?
Or is it so you can stack stuff on top more easily?
I get that it's never gonna look pretty, but why would you have soooo much exposed steerer and seat post? Do you need the extra seat post space for storage? Surely a sloping TT would be the sensible route?
Or am I missing something?
That you are - notice the reach.
I could go for a bigger frame, but that'd mean I have to flip the stem 180 degree horizontally to get the right reach...

^ I can't imagine how your body looks.
Gathering parts (wasting time on the internet) has anybody tried one of these headsets? They look really very nicely made, and good for the money... but that's just looking at a photo. Googling doesn't give out much other than that VP is a manufacturer for Cane Creek, maybe?

Yeah, best to go for 27s or it will look well slack. Keep an eye out for early signs of cracks in the area where the seat stays are tacked onto the seatpost too. Many frames with that design break at that point when you bust out too many trackstands on them! My Dawes, which looks very similar to this, suffered that fate

Perfectly normal, just with a very short chest and arm still long enough to punch those up the bracket for giving me grief about it.

Here's my road bike, it's not new but I've not ridden it in yonks and I've been slowly tinkering and fiddling with it for the last 5 months. Since most of my racing is TTs (in fact mostly ahem Tri) this bike mostly does duty as as my training bike, but I finished it off with bar-tape this morning and celebrated by sticking my fast(ish) wheels on and going for my first proper ride since July! It was hard work and catastrophically slow but reminded me how much I love cycling... Shame I won't be training seriously on a bike until at March at soonest.

Would look better (and stress the rails less) with an inline post. -

I like the bike!

Nice, poor branding design though.

I think it looks acers... don't know if I love or hate the blue hoods, but I like the "branding".. I'd desticker the wheels personally though.

That said, Condor's version isn't that much different I guess.
