  • Got a fireplace?

  • Yeah, but I don't think they work. I'm in a rented flat, only been here a few months. And our tiny back garden is entirely decked so I'd be nervous about burning them or anything. It's quite a pile of paper!

  • Only one way to find out if the fireplace works- what are you, a man or a mouse?

Prevent identity theft and save money on the gas bill.

  • pop them in a locked, paper specific recycling bin, gets taken straight to depot for mulching.

  • Sit on the floor in the centre of a room. Cut all documents into strips with scissors. This may take some time. Once finished, gather all the strips together and throw them about yourself, in an approximation of a man on the brink of a psychotic episode. Perhaps writhe amongst them afterwards. Then stand up and admire the pattern they have all arranged themselves in. Sell as art.

  • Use them for toilet paper...

A mac mini will give me a decent enough desktop, for just browsing, films and general web based chores, right?

  • Are perfumes cheaper in duty free shops at airports any longer or are the prices on the high streets/online better?

will be fine for that i'm sure, will probably struggle with HD films though

  • streamed/dl'd/dvd

    or all of the above?

I've got a shredder at home, where are you?

  • all of the above will be fine

  • Cool. You have any monitor recommendations?

  • how much do you want to spend? I have a have a 19" widescreen tft spare you can have for £25 plus postage

  • I've got a shredder at home, where are you?

Cheers! I'm in Tooting. Could swing round to you though, no bother, and drop off again?

  • I've got a shredder, but a little one. If there's too many bills and letters I simply rip out the address bit out of them. I tear the letters into quarters and destroy the tiny bits with addresses - put them into a bin liner and top up with leftovers form a casserole.

  • Can I buy a fucking cheap used rigid MTB to play polo on in Australia?

    Can I fuck... Salvo's tomorrow...

And where's Clive? What the fuck has been going on? Is that sneaky, holier-than-thou, bedwetting WiganWill cunt to blame? If so, I give up...

are you protecting your identity from ID fraud or the prosecution from fly-tipping?

  • Depends if I also have to bin an old mattress or not.

I have a POS with a suss fork you can use - not rigid obvs. Its in melbs though.

Try bicycle recycle/trading post/bike exchange. Bike exchange is like carsales for pushies. Yoll find something there.

i got some perfume for my mum online. most places are free delivery but you ight get it after christmas.

  • IPAD 2 for an 11year old (note for file make academic promises less achievable) - Will getting the 16gb version limit it's usefulness/make it more likely to become obselete. It is going to get a lot of games usage whether I like it or not.

  • what about a bike, instead?

  • Re this thread: http://www.lfgss.com/thread76989.html

Who was it that was selling that raleigh twenty wheelset on here a few weeks ago? Am sure it was in that thread where the dude had about 200 separate items for sale but my UTFS-fu is really weak after all these christmas parties and I'm just not finding it.

  • I have an iPad that that I only really use for games, reading and surfing the web I went for the 32 GB one and it isn't even 1/4 full after a year of spending far too much money in the app store, besides when it gets full you can move what you are not using onto a computer with more storage. As far as it becoming obsolete I wouldn't worry about it too much as in your kids eyes this will probably happen when apple inevitably release the ipad 3 (probably in about 6 months time) long before the actual hardware becomes obsolete.
