Any news on the route? Can't see any info in the riders pack.

Picked up my pack yesterday from "Rugby" - it's a bit Abercombie & Fitch, ain't it...? I can't see any details of the route either - any indication of how far it is (8-miles or 18-miles?) and roughly where the finish is?
Nice to bump into some of the marshals on their reccie afterwards :)

You don't know the route until the day when you're led. A good reason for this though.

And for that matter, what time is it due to end, and where? I've got to get a train back up to Leeds and I've got a pre-booked ticket!

Jacqui said approx 4hrs somewhere IIRC.
(in other news - have replaced oldest child with youngest on trailer bike and have sourced him a vintage mini tweed jacket. Now just need to provide large bag of snacks to keep him going.)

in the official handbook it says "we aim to send you on your way homeward by 5pm"
if it's anything like it was on Saturday, (heaving with tourists) it will be pandemonium with the addition of 500 bikes & riders!

Hey all,
Long time since I participated in the forums, but thought you might want to take a peek at this video I was asked to make to coincide with the Tweed Run.
It's a bit of fluffy fun for a Monday evening:

Hope you all have a great time on the ride.
Journey safely!Kindest,

Why is there no route map? Is it a legal thing or just meant to be a surprise?
Any idea where the run will end up? Will it be bethnal green, or back to central London?
Just wondering as I want to place some friends at the best possible photographic vantage points :)

It's a surprise, and also stops freeloaders getting involved.

I have rubbish friends!
And as a result I've rider packs for places 106 & 107 going spare. I have the packs already.
Anyone want them? PM me.
can't help thinking the bag the registration pack comes in would be far wider used if it were a bit smaller - same size as a traditional musette!
If our old sewing machine weren't broke, I'd have a go at turning it into a "Tweed Run Musette"
