  • ok, I been trying to remember the name of a film for the last week or so, since I saw the Driver.

It is a italia film, about a mafia bookkeeper who lives is a hotel and that has a BMW cover with a sheet in a huge subterranean car park, I don't remember much of the plot, I know that there is a girl and some killers try to kill him.
It is fairly modern, less than 8 year, I would say

    ring any bell to anyone???

'Le conseguenze dell'amore' (The consequences of love). Good film, quite arthouse style. Dates from 2004 I think.

  • I thought WNtTAK was good, some really good bits and some bits that just didn't work for me. Tilda Swinton was good, the film did uncomfortable pretty well, but did feel a little copy-catish in it's cinematography...

I reeally want to go see shame.

  • So I saw WNtTAK last night, I thought it was pretty good but I see your point about the cinematography. I loved the office Christmas party scene, it was suitably gross!

  • have slacked off on the film watching, burds innit.

really want to see blackpowermixtape though, like docos with footage,
Eightball told me about this too-

    anyone seen it?

  • Going to a screening of Coriolanus on friday. very excited

Coriolanus - Official UK Trailer - YouTube

Ok so i saw Coriolanus today. Wow, just wow. I was absolutely blown away by it. Ralph was superb and possibly gave the performance of his career so far although I am sure he has much more to give.
It was extremely well made and his directorial debut was not a disappointment in the least.
I am really excited by this film and cannot wait for everyone to see it and to know what peoples think.

  • maybe i'll go tomorrow and see it...

  • troll! not out until January!

  • oh thats that special pre screening you were going on about. gah well i guess i'll have to wait to see it with the rest of the proles

  • Had you been in london I would have invited you, as my +1 remained unused! ralph as there at the start to introduce the film which was mega

  • ffffuuuuu

  • i was going to ask a random perosn on the street but then i remembered that im socially awkward

  • did you get lumbered with some lout next to you like at the bff screening?

  • Some guy form the national theatre sat next to me. he was loud, very camp and wore a purple adidas tracksuit.

  • just saw La Zona on bbc iplayer. good film!

  • I was impressed by "Attack on Darfur", especially in light of the director Uwe Boll's poor reputation. The mood music was overkill and some of the handheld cam was overly distracting. It was strange that the unarmed villagers and poorly armed protagonists didn't pick up the enemy's AK47s. Maybe that's the chaos of "war".

Boll's wikipedia entry is pretty amusing - he challenged his harshest critics to ten rounds of boxing - Raging Boll ^_^

  • 12.35am tonight, Film 4: 'Battle Royale'

    Aceness!

Wait Uwe Boll has done a movie thats not based on a computer game! Will check it out.

  • Should I go and see Tintin?

I've seen loads of reviews along the lines of "If you grew up reading the books, this film will annoy your tits off."

  • i know its going to be like that :( i'm just going to pretend i've never read a book try and judge it on its own merit

  • The visual is too weird for me. Animated while trying to look real

  • it's the dead eyes... dead, dead eyes...

    sex offender eyes...

  • the human centipede 2 is savage.

  • so i see men in black 3 and independence day 2 & 3 are happening. I've always actually fancied see more of the independence day franchise

  • One and only time I've walked out of a cinema was 'Independence Day'

    Awful, absolutely awful stuff...

  • Watching Ginger Snaps.
    It's shit.
