Not record. Just 1 hour TT
More a comment on the similarity of your set up to Sosenka's than a serious enquiry, but good luck with the hour anyway. As we're mostly English here, you'll need to do over 25 miles (40.225km) in the hour to get on terms with the likes of me and Hippy.

Hopefully I can squeeze in that extra lap at the velodrome. ;)

Empella Cyclocross 2004
I should be able to take pictures with the valves, chain and crank in the right positions by now (5 years of building bikes), but apparently I am retarded.
Anyways loving cross and my new bike. -

I cannot believed you had the worse brakes ever, they're horrible to adjust!
-
• #50957
what can you recommend?
I am new to cross but they work fine for me. A bit chatter from the fork though.

Love it ^^^

Tektro CR720's are the best froggleg style brake imo.

I don't know a thing about brakes but I like that bike. Could tone it down with some gumwalls and adjust the bars (is that a cross thing?) but it's nice.

It is a 'cross thing.
Looks great. Is that a regular compact chainset?

Crashed on it and ruined the red tape so will replace that with black once it arrives. But these are premium tires. Probably the most loved clinchers in cross so they wont go until Michelin starts doing them in green again ;-)

I did Start out with a 44/39 T and 12-23 T on the casette but got an offer for 53/39 T Campagnolo Record carbon for 90 gbp so I didn't mind the extra gears. I only ride 39T in the forrest anyway.
And thank you.

Oh those are Michelin Cyclocross Muds. Didn't recognise them. I do usually love tyres in those shades on mountain bikes. Either way yours looks ace.

I was lucky enough to buy a 1950 Holdsworth Cyclone Deluxe Track (road/path) bike from its original owner. Although it had been poorly resprayed in the late '90s and had a mish mash of late 60's parts.
I've recently finished swapping out all the parts from my previous bike, excluding the frame, forks, b/bracket cups and one of the fixed cogs. Skully butchered the saddle, The Bonk supplied the NOS (32 & 40 hole) 27" rims and Ayrup laced up the wheels with DT Rev spokes.
I've blown some white primer over the rear after dealing with some rust. All I've got to do now is pick a colour and get it painted properly (probably Alantic Boulevard).
Any one know if I should be looking for something to cap off the b/bracket oiling port?

Is that a 58? Really like this build, pretty envious!
Also, do the bags feel well built? and are they supposed to be water proof?

I seem to remember its 24" but it looks much small that that in the photos. Maybe a tad small for me but I don't care its a joy to ride. If I had to only have one bike i'd keep this.
you can have a go on Saturday

They do yes, I obviously haven't tested them in the wet yet but they are ment to be waterproof yes. They've all got a free floating liner, thats tape seemed at the top. Much you get in chrome bags.
That's a lovely bike, and really nicely shot.
