  • Thanks.

  • just saw this shocking photo in today's paper

  • reminds me of:

    I heard a radio interview with the chap in the picture. They introduced him to the photographer.

    Apparently, he only came outside to have a look at the helicopter and had no idea the wave was coming.

    Must have been a hell of a suprise 2 seconds later!

  • just saw this shocking photo in today's paper

    Given that it's Mexico, it's not actually shocking. 40000 dead in the last 5 years in their pointless war on drugs.

  • There is a set on boston big picture that has a torso lying in the street, no arms, legs or head

    Horrible stuff happening there

  • just saw this shocking photo in today's paper

    quote from that;

    "Veracruz has been the scene of a bloody war between the Gulf and Zetas cartels in the past year, while more than 40,000 people have died in Mexico’s drugs war since 2006"

    That's just obscene. More than 40,000 dead in just 5 years. This is one of the most disgusting things I've ever read. I'm astounded. All for gak.

  • You won't want to know about this then

  • I think I do actually. Will read in detail later. So far as the drug thing goes, it's clear that the cartels will never stop smuggling. It's also clear the appetite for cocaine is only going to increase. Little can be done about either of those things. If drugs were legalised, which is the only move left on the part of the authorities, things could be controlled. It needs to happen, otherwise the whole business will get nastier still. I don't believe that housewives across the globe will become coke-heads were it legal. There'll be egg on the faces of the powers that be when it happens, as they'll quickly see they've missed a trick for far too long. Statistics like in that article are shameful.

  • Ugh. I'm gonna be in mexico in December. This kind of thing is just horrific and far too common. Its a beautiful country but has some of the worst acts of humanity, mostly fuelled by exploitation from the states and lots of other countries and a global demand for coke. Its just really, really fucking sad.

  • Love it!! I'm at peace

  • I'd get out of the water if i were you!!!
