Just after payday.

Just after payday, finishing on a Sunday afternoon/early evening around 5-6pm.

Warning- unless it's a Bank Holiday, when this is suicidal madness in terms of a finishing time.

I'm looking into custom Alu (probably way off budget, but humor me). There was a couple nice track frames in Current projects. Made in Portugal IIRC. (Sorry to the forumenger for not remembering his name).
Does anyone have a link to this or a similar builder?

Cassette problem. Checked chain first as i thought i had problem with it but now realised that its the second smallest cog in thr cassette. The chain keeps jumping off the teeth. Do i have to buy a new cassette or can i just replace one?

chain might be too long, or derailleur might need a tweak...

I don't think you can buy individual sprockets for a cassette. It's also a good idea to get the chain and chainrings checked for wear. A knakered chain on a new cassette is going to ruin the cassette quickly, same with a new chain and old rings/sprockets

Are you sure the gearing is adjusted well? If so, then you should probably replace the whole cassette if it's that worn.

Might be a stiff link in the chain- is it just jumping off the second sprocket, or is it climbing up the block?

if i used a blow torch to burn the paint off my lugged bob jackson frame, would it weaken the metal or the braze on the lugs?
