met with a caterer to go though our upcoming wedding menu last night. it was really good fun. we're pretty budget conscious, wanted something simple, hearty, and filling (it's a march wedding).
we spent a happy hour in a kitchen with a really thoughtful and enthusiatic bloke drawing pictures of plates and discussing the relative merits of brocolli versus spring greens and and roasties vs dauphinoise etc. long story short is that we'rehaving roast chicken (w/new potatoes, greens, gravy and bread sauce) for our wedding dinner. can't wait!
