  • Feel sick so I'm making risotto bianco with a squeeze of lemon juice tonight.

    It takes ages but my small contribution to the world of risotto is caramelised onion and Emmental risotto, sweet and tangy.

    Similar to Spotters' idea; stuff them with soft, mild cheese and a bit of butter maybe a few herbs (tarragon is good) and wrap in air dried ham or pancetta. Fry quickly over high heat and finnish in medium oven for 10-15 mins.

    Tofu noodle soup in a ginger and chilli broth, with mixed chinese veg just made, good dinner- especially as I've been feeling shite all day.
