Not to be a bore, but did we decide whether 135 front was lame or not?
-
• #6206
Yes, its lame.
-
• #6207

Where did you get that symbol from? Out of Max's 'failed mallet' box?
-
• #6210
+1 I had to use Ctrl+scroll to see that symbol
-
• #6211
It's the infinity symbol, morons.
-
• #6212
Oh, Bill...

I know what it's supposed to be, I was merely commenting on the poor reproduction.

I need a WI free wheel tool. Anyone have one? Trying one I borrowed from Jono (just normal freewheel tool), but the slight difference in diameter is not working out.

• #6216
better?
Is that my troll rating? I'll have to get Rik to work that out, as I can't do the math(s).

Just created a Wanted post in classifieds asking for a 36h 700c chukker and didnt think to ask here first. Forum fail. Does anyone have one?

@ those who are using cassette rear wheels, what axle / skewer are you using?
QR aren't holding the wheel and halo hex bolt axles aren't working too well either. There's not really any room for a chain tug so I'm struggling to keep my wheel in place.

Have you tried putting a pipe on the end of the allen key to get it really tight?

#fatoldwomani changed my quick release shimano deore hub to a track axle with wheel nuts, £12 for the axle, You can easily do it to lots of hubs (not hope pro 2 though)

A pipe? No, because I change gears for commuting so need to undo this regularly. The halo skewers aren't very solid and don't hold up to being tightened very well.
Is a track axle different from 'normal' axles? I thought there are problems with the cones when you change from qr to solid axle?
Cheers guys.

Maybe you should get a hub gear?
#justsayin
right, I'm gonna sell the ESB I won and get myself a nice peruvian polo frame, probably just the frame and fork for sale and I'll keep some of the other bits for a beater/knock around fixie of some sort. Figured I'd stick it in here before the main forum.
I had Ryan braze on some brake mounts on the fork, might make you like it more, might make you like it less.
£400ish sound fair?
