Old school No 10. False forward or shadow striker an attack minded player that plays in the hole behind the strikers and in front of the midfield.
Mainly used in Spanish, Argentinian and Dutch football.
A gerrard type position?

i.e allows him to run forward into the box from an advanced midfield position and throw himself on the floor.

Give it a few years: Ross Barkley
Or as some Spurs would have you believe, Tom Huddlestone

Think I may listen to his radio 5live programme as well. I also want to know why the last great enganche/trequartista that england produced was Matt Le Tissier, and how the great hope that was Joe Cole has been allowed to be frittered away..
I'd say Rooney could qualify to play in that role if there only were half decent strikers with an English passport.

More advanced, like Sneijder did at the WC or Riquelme used to at Villareal/Argentina, Arshavin for Russia at the EC 2008, Bergkamp & Litmanen at Ajax and to a certain degree the way Maradona was used.

A four year stretch at the Scrubs would be more appropriate.

He needs more than 4 years in the Scrubs.

That Tarabt thinks he's a bit tasty too doesn't he? And he's got an ego bigger than Westfield
Guaranteed they'll have a punch-up before Christmas

Good signing for QPR, he is far too good for them, I'm suprised Moyes didn't go for him but then again he does have a good injury record.

He's a snidey little cunt, why would we want him? We let him go when he was 14 so he can stay 'fucked off'
Anyway, on a pre-season tour of Thailand a few years back when he had a row with a load of Evertonians in a bar he said he'd *"never play for Everton as the team's full of n*****!"
Nice bloke

Mark him out the game for twenty minutes and he gets tetchy, rash and shows his stupidity. Warnock used to comment about how ten years ago he would not have put up with him. Perhaps he can't put up with him anymore and he is fighting away one turd by signing another.

How can Arsene, bemoan, Barca coming in cheap with their bid for Fabregas, then shove in an equally derisory bid for Cahill, Everyone knows he's got money, and everyone knows he needs to shore up his defence, everyone knows he's interested in Cahill, so why offer a reported 8 million, you know bolton aren't going to sell him for that, especially when the less accomplished, experienced jones went from blackburn for twice that, obviously factoring bonuses, and what not into that figure...
Just fucking man up and put in a proper offer, or is the offer there to appease the fans by saying, look we're trying, but they won't accept our money, oh well, we'll have to rely on the players I bought in previously..Fabregas had 4 years remaining on his contract, Cahill is entering the final year of his so Bolton can either cash in now or lose him for nothing next summer. A cheeky bid to test their resolve seems a sensible option.

Jesus, if he thought Newcastle were two bob, wait until he actually plays at Loftus Road.
Anyone fancy a flutter on how many games in before he either has a tear-up with Colin or one of his team mates in either training or at a game?

I hadn't heard that story, didn't realise he was a racist like his brother.
