I'd take Bellamy, especially as it seems he would be free. We need another striker, especially if Wash N'gog leaves.

Pot: kettle: black

^^ Mancini came out all guns blazing saying no-one's leaving for free.
He questioned why Citeh should pay more for players, and then everyone else doesn't.
As a cheque book Manager, you will live and die by the sword.

Just noticed that we are on a new page and no-one has mentioned the incredible start to the season Derby have had. Wouldn't want any of you to be unaware that we have had the best start to a season since 1905.
Nothing else of note (football related) happened in 1905, it was an otherwise dull year.
I have never put anyone on ignore before, not even Lynx.

Was that when you first attended a game at the Bridge, Clive?

he's been told, like 'Arry, that its a couple out, then you can have a couple in.
Long term contracts and big wages, mean many players doing a Bogarde, and sitting collecting the monthly paycheck without doing fuck all..though Manc Ronnie had some interesting things to say about the players who are now on the fringes of Mancini's thoughts.. -

July 8: Harry Redknapp explains how professional Luka Modric is. "He's walked in today and is happy, but the kid's a bit confused at the moment...He loves playing here. It's a difficult situation for him and I understand where he's coming from. We can't kid ourselves."
July 23: Harry Redknapp explains how professional Luka Modric is. "His attitude has been first class. He has got on with it. There would be players when they have wanted to move that really wouldn't have wanted to be playing today and not giving 100 per cent. But he only knows one way to play. He is a fantastic boy and a great professional. He worked hard today and his attitude couldn't be better."
August 22: Harry Redknapp explains...oh. "He's got a little bit of an injury. There's a possibility he could have played through it. But at the moment his head's not in the right place."

I sincerely hope that all the rumours that are floating around about Barton coming our way are indeed just rumours. Murdoch's papers will print anything to get a rise.
I hope his empire collapses. Saucy cunt.

Barton has been linked with everyone! It's a naff exercise to keep newcastle in the papers.
Nasri finally gone, shame but he won't improve and will be off in under 2 years but we did make 12 million on him. Fingers crossed wenger finds another player of that quality before next week!

So, what happens if Arsenal fail to qualify for the Champions League?

The world will carry on as normal.

• #39274
well obviously the world will carry on as normal.
But in the context of Arsenal, their possible transfer target and their "big team" status, what happens to all of that.
May is a long, long time away, but will Arsenal have a Liverpool-esque descent down the league? The game between the two was more like watching Bolton v Stoke than two European footballing giants.
