+1 for shit knog light, they batteries on mine died within a couple of months, it was in the autumn so I wasn't even using them every day.
I had mine swapped for this reason. However, I believe there to be an inherent fault meaning that the battery constantly drains even when no in use. Also, my first one developed a short which caused the brightness to vary depending on how hard you squeezed it.
There is a Cateye model similar to the Knog which is far better.

I was gonna swap mine too, but few friends of mine have the same problem led me think there is no point of doing so. So yes, I agree it's a flaw of the light in general

Anyone got any experience with bike-vintage.com in Poland?

My price matched boomers came today, and they're fucking bright! Will have to see if they last but for less than 20 quid I'm impressed

Just had an almost great experience with sjscycles. I wanted a black halo track cog which noone stocks yet. ordered it wednesday when it was oos with them and it arrived this morning, with a lock ring and a chainwhip multi tool.(paid for). nicely packaged and a pretty rapid delivery and the guys on th e phone were really helpfull . sadly the chain tool doesnt fit the cog (slim chain) so I'll speak to them monday and see whatthey say.

They weren't much use and there is still no sign of the package.
Sending a tracking number for a Recorded Signed for item is just pointless and annoying.
Sit and wait

Arent they just overpriced cheap chinese manufactured lights anyway? Surely an LED, switch and battery has very little that can go wrong. The cheap chinese lights have never let me down, especially when you can afford to buy backups to keep in your pockets.

They are indeed overpriced and they are indeed rubbish. Like I said, I thought it was just my set that got a problem, but it turns out a few of my mates experience they exact same problem.
I am now using a "free" light I got from my council and it does the job nice and neat. When I say free, it's not actually, coz I pay my council tax...

My everyday lights have worked very well and bright for the last year through rain and snow. They cost me nothing (repaired after finding them at a mates house) and have custom gaffer tape waterproofing.
However, for my current build (almost done) Im going to use a £10 450 lumen cree front and three chinese £2 red lights (look similar to knog) on the back.
£16 quid for a nice safe light setup, bargain!

I actually bought 15 of the 450lm ones (take 3x AAA) elsewhere to get a bulk discount (two for myself, the rest to sell on). They're very nice actually. I like the all aluminium body, feels very solid, and they're extremely bright.
And I just ordered a handful of red lights that look/work similar to the Knog ones but have two LEDs in each. Really handy to keep a few in my bag for the disaster days.

I bought two Cree lights on the reco of this forum- they are dreadful, total waste of money.

Care to share where did you get those cheap chinese lights? The bay?
