Ended up building it with parts from the Lemond I was using so it's pretty beaterish. I'm going to check eBay out to see if I can pick up some new cranks, and probably some new shifters soon. Just going to sort out the cables now and re-cover the saddle
*saddle is moving

Just need to find a seatpost that fits so I can ditch the shim and it's done. The pink and black 80's handlebar tape I ordered for it never arrived. Probably a good thing in the long run though...
That is crying out for lairy 80s bar tape. Just saying...

Very nice. I would have gone for drops, but at least you have proper brake levers on there. The bars look fairly narrow.

Some old 23c Vittoria ones... I have som Veloflex Record 20c, but my local shop told me theese would be better for those fragile hubs...

got some b123s and a jaguar to go on the argos... just need to tape the bars.
I have a decision to make, bottom bracket needs servicing, it's an old open bearing tange one.
Should I service and keep the periodish theme, or just whack a sealed one in instead?
Any tips on a sealed BB that looks more classic than a centaur?

They look bigger than 23c. Very tight.
A showbike quality build. Amazing.

@ OZ - Bars are fairly narrow - 38cm. I did think about drops but on my road bike I'm on the hoods 95% of the time anyway - Bullhorns seemed to make sense.
If anyone knows where to get white-pink fade bar tape, let me know.

You'll probably not match the pink. And not-quite-right-pink will clash.
You'd be better off picking out the blue with something like this IMHO.

Anyone use a Miche Primato bb with Sugino 75's? Found out today the bb I have which I was told was Centaur isn't and so doesn't fit taper wise.

Replacing Tange with Veloce is moving from JIS to ISO, surely? Do you want to go down that road?

Miche BBs are shit. Spend the extra tenner on a Token, available in a full range of lengths and tapers.

Tester please advise. I know very little about bottom brackets and don't mind admitting it. Are jis and ISO types of threads? How do I tell which it is? Whas should I replace it with?

Different length of taper.
