  • Jonny's give me a couple of more months and the new to beast and you may actually see me out there fixed, probably not on as massive a gear as clint but you never know.
Good fun, calves are tight and making me walk like an old man after the ride and half an hour of run walking this morning.

There are not old men in the TNRC, but only men of indeterminate age, I'm sure jonny will give you this too.

  • It woz the head to toe rapha what did it

Lolz, I have heard it helps.

Good to here you made it up that bitch hill too. I was chuffed to battle up it on the lo-pro, but the achievement was slightly muted by watching Shoots dance up it like it did not exist and he was rolling with two more gear inches than I had! I hate him with a green-eyed vengeance!!

  • Your usual technique was it? Poor Sam DHL you to the line? ;)

I'll let Will tell the story...

  • I am seriously considering turning down a good job offer cos it would limit my TNRC participation.

bullshit! I'm writing it into a contract as we speak :D

  • Yes, the brake locked on after the pothole. Couldn't really work out what was going on so I just loosened the cable and rode on my rear brake. I'll let you know what is was once I've fixed it.

There was nothing wrong with the brake after I had tightened the cable back up. I think the handlebars may have been slightly rotated forward by my upper body when I hit the pothole, which may have had the effect of tightening the brake onto the rim.

    As you were.

  • good work Tom. mechanicals are a fucker every which way you look at them.

Need to pm a couple of people but next ride will be posted on Tuesday. Was good out there and the usual mix of old and new faces which makes riding (and walking) such a pleasure.

Ah, seems to make sense. I'll check on my bars before I go out on Sunday.

  • Apologies for not replying about ride 2, Tim did the right thing as usual in cancelling it.

Sounds like a lovely first outing of the season, I am itching to become a bad dad.

New bike should be with me in the next three weeks, so, fingers crossed.

    Miss you guys.
