Yes, the brake locked on after the pothole. Couldn't really work out what was going on so I just loosened the cable and rode on my rear brake. I'll let you know what is was once I've fixed it.

There was nothing wrong with the brake after I had tightened the cable back up. I think the handlebars may have been slightly rotated forward by my upper body when I hit the pothole, which may have had the effect of tightening the brake onto the rim.
