  • He has still got lots of which companies stock?

  • 7th largest Microsoft shareholder I believe.

  • No, really?

  • I shit you not.

  • This whole thing is a sorry disgrace.

  • I knew Elop had a lot of MS stock, but not that much

  • I made a mistake, he's the 8th largest shareholder;

  • Looks like our best hope of a decent, well integrated but not that evil desktop/mobile system is HP then.

  • Ha!

  • This is interesting. So what the hell happened to Nortel between 2000 and 2003? That is one hell of a crash.

I just heard from a former employee that all their stuff was really shit :)

My only Nortel experience was with a BCM400 PBX. Worst configuration interface I have ever used. Ever.

    I can believe him.

  • Now coming onto Android phones. The soundtrack is immense. Check and see.

  • Tablet comparison: Samsung Galaxy Tab 10 vs LG Optimus Pad

The HTC Flyer tablet, seems to add a notable difference to the average new tablet. You can write and highlight things on the screen, with the included stylus and the inbuilt Scribe software. Handy.

  • That joke wasn't funny the first time.

    Who's joking?

  • Funniest app of the moment. It analyzes your Facebook, and alerts you to when someone has unfriended you.
Its called Unfriend Watch. Now you can plan your revenge.

Mwah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! (*in the voice of Dr.Claw from Inspector Gadget) *

I want to keep facebook for updates from family and mates that aren't in London.

  • how the hell do i update to 2.2 on my galaxy s? I can't do it from the phone, and the samsung kies software is bizarre. The O2 customer service guy said go into the shop and ask them, but I usually dont get home in time/too knackered

PP if kies isn't recognising your phone then make sure there are no apps running in the background, ie open the task manager then close all then try again..

other than that make sure you have the latest kies installed...

and then failing that flash a custom rom, they are about a hundred times better than the 2.2 from samsung...

  • I could get it to recognise the phone, I just didnt really see the point in the software..

I am thinking about a custom rom, the lags are starting to get irritating because I know it can do so much better.. only thing is voiding warranty is putting me off

  • as far as i can remember it is fairly simple to flash back to stock without any real issues..

Im running a docrambone rom its pretty smooth and fast, really easy to install too which makes it reassuring and im sure i have read somwhere that its practically impossible to brick your handset for good..

Id have a good read through the FAQ for SGS on xda developers gives all info you need really...

i love the handset, especially with all the niggles ironed out...

happy to help if you need more info..
