I bet you are so glad you didn't get one.

I couldn't give a shit what other people ride. I'm glad I didn't spend the money unnecessarily though.

@Dov - Why not look at the Seta too? Or is it aluminium only?
Initial reaction is it seems very (very) stiff, probably stiffer than my old dolan track champ, and not that far off my PX, but quite a bit lighter. They are also supposed to be very crash resilient, because there are no joins to fail.
(No I don't get commission from dolan)

It would do your maverick loner status no favours if you were to turn up on a bike that was as common as dog shit, people might think you were becoming a conformist.

I'm immensely gregarious, I'll have you know.

And staunchly conventional.

Does gregarious come from "gregorian" ? like the monks. Monks who are famously maverick loners.

But hugely enchanting.

^^hang on then. Now everyone's got a 464, as well as P-X and a Dolan?
If it's about exclusivity, I've never seen a Koga Kimera at any of the track sessions I've been to, and it's quite the bargain compared with BT, Look 496 etc. at £2900

I'm waiting for the 60 to become 'clearance' :-)

Wouldn't buy it from there even if it did

Wouldn't Bos ride a 60? Surely he's got one or two lying around gathering dust now? PM him. He's on here.

Off the top of my head, at track league there were at least:
10 Dolans
7 PXs (8 if you include Guy but i dont think he rode)
4 Cinellis
4 Ovals
4 Fujis
3 Kogas
2 Cervelo T1s
2 Looks- a load of one off's
hope this is good guide to how 'common' yer bikes are!
- a load of one off's

I just wouldn't use them. Some people have got stuff quickly with no probs, others have been lied to and had to jump through hoops just to be fobbed off.

Whats the name of that Austrailian company that custom machines chainrings? Has a really basic website.
-
• #222
Thanks.
-
• #223
That is indeed a very basic website.
I hope they put more effort into their merchandise than they do their CSS:)
-
• #224
Anyone one here successfully ordered a chainring from them yet?
I wrote them a mail with a couple of questions and got a quick and very kind reply. Then I made an enquiry for a few rings and never got a response. Wrote them another mail on the weekend, still no response. -
