I got mine from TK Maxx- as did a couple of other people I believe.
Be warned that they come up at least a size above that which they are marked.

I adore those matte brogue boots, GA2G. Gorgeous!

Had to get things back on track. They are a bit lovely aren't they?

Those matte ones are lovely, but how do you polish them? Won't they end up as shiny eventually?
-
• #941
I'd probably just suede brush them and let them age naturally.
I don't reckon they'd last as long as a polished boot, but they'd go out in style! -

and the sole of one of the boots is coming lose again. FFS!
the whole reason to pay up a fuckload for a decent pair of boots is to have them last longer than a £30 pair of vans, not to pass them round between incompetent fucking cobblers hacking away

With apologies to Superprecise, the following are handmade shoes, certainly, but not necessarily in leather. Also, and about high time, some examples of some very special examples of ladies' footwear. I have outdone myself in finding these I think.
*bows deeply to the wildly applauding crowd*
The first mens's shoe is made of lizard. About time we do more than just put these creatures in sandwiches I think.
The second is a standard leather boot.
The lovely black and white ladies' shoe is of calfskin.
The brown ladies' shoe is of.....wait for it.......eel. Oh yes it is.

Does anyone know what's going on here? No matter how much I clean and polish my Barker shoes, this white mark keeps reappearing.
It's ruining a great pair of shoes.
This needs to be quoted.
