Good point but conversely, I doubt he did it just so he could look in the mirror and appreciate it himself.

Each to their own, but I doubt he's worried about your thoughts.

Isn't stretching lobes all a bit teenaged? Smelly, too.
Not with the right care, mine hasnt smelt in years ;)
And although I doubt the guy with the facial scarfication did it to "appericate himself in the mirror" too, I just know some people do feel more complete when they do certain modifications to themselves. It's hard to explain. :)
But eh, different strokes to different folks! -

That guy with the scarred face is clearly the victim of bullying.
I feel sad about this.
-
• #136
Yeah, remember that next time you start with the short jokes.
See what happens?

sorry don't mean to piss on your thread or anything. body mods aren't my thing, each to their own, yes, but i saw that guys face and just had to vent. impressionable kids might be reading! :p
Just for full disclosure, i think there may have been a spiritual reason for the work, the thing on his forehead is called the Buddha's path and represents the Buddha's path to enlightenment. the bit on his cheek is the Sayagata it's a piece of Indian scared geometry that was then used as a Japanese textile pattern a few thousand years ago.
not too sure, as the shop itself is famed for sacred geometry and also has a very spiritual slant to it. He may have just commissioned the shapes without knowing the significance of them. but i doubt it.

To each their own, I guess...
Still doesn't make that guy look anything but a total bellend.

Your bumps on the ears have also gone down! Love the bar.
I took out the black bar I'd had in there for the past few week and replaced everything with the shortest bars I have. I think the black bar is a little short so was causing them to swell up.
I found a place local to me which does the scarification but doesn't advertise. Yet to check them out properly but I hear good things about them -

Go to Quentin of Worthing for scarification, he is amazzzzzzzzzzzing and is very laid back.
I just ordered 1" stone plugs for my ears to match my 8mm crystal quartz labret. Can't wait for them to arrive!

Do I dare google what this is from here in the office or shall I wait until I get home and use "Private Browsing"?
