My two new East-German friends arrived today:
(24" front both)
feel free to post these in the lo pro thread, it's long over due a rejuvenation.
Also +1 if you want to sell one, surely you need to finish the crono and colnago first! -

I've changed the seat post, saddle, stem and bars (will be taped). I've got a wheelset being built up at the moment so will be selling these, anyone want them? I'm thinking of getting it painted as well. The current paint job is impressive but I just don't like it. Thoughts?
I have almost the exact same paint job on my Ernie Clements (which is a re-badged Simoncini) except mine has chromed rear triangle, lugs and forks. I know what you mean about the paint job s I thought about getting mine resprayed. In the end I left it as is and eventually it grew on me.

I don't see why it would have a smaller wheel at the back ?
i don't even think to build it yet.. smaller back faster back up..lol
More to the point, why a small back wheel with normal length stays? Defeats the usual object of getting your team mates as close behind as possible in a team pursuit.
i don't know, as far as i'm concern, mr.kalavinka had confirm it's him who build it.. i hesitate it to ask, why such a thing.. i'm a learner.. =))
That's mental, want!
mental!!! let me know if i could drop you a chat.. i found plenty of interesting things in Japan. lol i bet you'll start your "current project program".
There is a 23-520 Schwalbe Durano, use with Schwalbe inner tube 9C

I dreamt about that Obree build last night, it folded in half. I sincerely hope this does not become a reality.

Looking for c-record pedals and thinking of changing wheels for low flange c-record on clincher rims instead of high flange on tubulars as it is now. I might also try to find a 2a stem and a pista handlebar to make it more true to its nature.

Email me at salakoteathotmaildotcom about the low flange record wheelset. I might have something for you.

were did you get that nasty frame ?
i 've been in CPN and asked the guys at pedal atleten ...
they just looked confused when I was talking about the most sexiest frames
on this planet with "pedal atleten" on the downtubehttp://farm5.static.flickr.com/4029/4626850044_f36d184db4_b.jpg

As far as I know "Pedal Atlenten" sponsored some danish track riders in the 90's, but have nothing to do with track cycling today. The Max frame was build by legendary danish frame builder Tonny Tornado for Henrik Hammel and is truly stunning. I have contacted Tonny about my frame but he refused to have build my frame. My frame is build from EL OS tubing and was originally build for Frederik Bertelsen, I got it from the second owner who have ridden for the national danish youth team.
I have heard that Tonny still build frames and one like the Max frame but with slx tubing will cost around 8000 dkk = 900 pounds. -

Wow, lovely, have been toying with a Ti frame myself. Can I ask how much were the customisations ie drilled brake bridge to actually take a brake and the cable guides on the top tube? In addition I find I take a 53 TT but the seat tube for this size is 46! Really small! How's the sizing on the frame?
I cracked and bought the Lynskey seatpost. It looks pretty nice on the bike. I just need to fit my Enve Composites stem, which came today, and everything is done. Have to say, this bike is a joy to ride. It seems to soak up every little bump and is nice and quick too.

That is gorgeous... just swap the wheels for some carbon clinchers... ;)

How about some very nice triple bearing track ones?
Ouch. £185 for used Cd'A? Seems improbable.

Really? I would disagree. £325 new without clips. £185 (that is Buy it now) seems ok for second hand in great nick.
Surely the beard will have to go for maximum aero?
