These are the C-Records you want.
Always on eBay. Expect to pay £150-200 for used models.
Be sure to get the straps and toeclips.

I have a pair with brand new clips and spare brand new cages, but I'm using them on the goff, although for that money, I would sell then ;-)

This is the bike I'm refurb'ing for the girlfriend. She wants a roadbike with gears, that she can use for commuting/riding for fun, and I don't have pots of money, so I managed to pick this up cheap, and 'tart it up' a little bit:

I've got some new wheels, which I'm building up for her, and a new chain/cassette. Should be alright for what she needs, and all on a much tighter budget than I'm used to building bikes on!

Bloody hell, amazing.
Is the lemon yellow one you always coveted? Didn't you sell a slightly different yellow one?

Yep its the colour I was after all along, everything else is gone.
Haven't been on here in ages. Miss the humour and abuse!

Love the Cinelli.
Did you sell the Merckx?
-
• #39010
Yep Merckx is gone too. I do regret it a bit - like a few of the other frames I let go... oh well.

Fuck off then. Lol. ;)

that cinelli would look far better for me if it was built up with more contrast
I mean black low box rims , black cranks, stem and seat post...
and that brooks tape doesn't really match the colour-period-scheme

Its a very much a Marmite frame, you either like the weird aero shapes or not, not many people do sadly.

Is it me or is the BB looking really low in that shot?

Totally. I've never an issue... but I don't ride every day and don't go up and down curbs a lot.

If I were you I would keep the angle the same and just move the fade up so it's about half way down the tube, same as the top tube, but looks like it will be a nice job...

...or not. Published geo from Leader says BB drop of 7(!)cm.
We'll see. It wouldn't be the first time I've been surprised by the ease with which a fool and his money can be parted. If you're looking at this listing http://www.businesscycles.com/trcomp.htm#pedals, the PD-7400 looks like a bargain by comparison.
