Anyone fancy swapping their Desire Z for a normal Desire. I like the idea of a proper keyboard.

But the Desire Z is a BIG step up performance-wise from the regular Desire (which I own) ....and you really want someone to swap their new phone, for an older, much less powerful phone? Even though the CPU is rated at a mere 800Mhz, it is the later and further developed model, with the 205 GPU, and not the old 200 GPU.

Bought the black gloves. They are both like the grey, not fleecy. Been wearing these all day. Very warm for wool gloves and work well with touch screen.

I was half-way through rooting process for mine but I think I'll keep it stock for a bit longer if they're still doing OTA updates pretty regularly.

Seeing as I'm laid up with manflu I may root my T-Mobile Hero tomorrow... Any dos and don'ts from fellow T-Mob Hero users? Best ROM? Main reason for doing it is to overclock the processor, I've become addicted to Angry Birds and I'm a bit fed up of playing in slo-mo... TIA... J x

Which I have been running since Froyo came out.

The Villainrom devs seem to be pretty super, so I would think the other ones would be good if you didn't want pure vanilla-y goodness!

So that might be the phone I'm waiting for. Shame about the pixel density, but otherwise looks perfect- small, hardward kb, decent processor

Anyone here got the Nexus S? What's the general consensus? We like?

Zed from what I see so far, Google aren't actually making an Ultimate phone when they release each new Nexus. Rather it appears to be a vehicle for showcasing what is possible, with the latest new Android flavour. And since that is the case, the phones would be reliable, and cutting edge up to a point. Phones released later from other manufacturers, normally will be of higher spec and performance.

Sony Ericsson, Motorola and LG, all have phones that will soon be announced, that will make the Nexus 2 look distinctly jaded. If not nearly obselete.

Interested to see the LG Star....
