Not sure whether to continue to post in here or start an appeal elsewhere..the saga with the garage door is still ongoing and to be honest I don't know what to do.
The gap underneath the door is not big enough for anyone to crawl under.
I can't see any other option but removing the door, for which you need two physically strong people... and at least one who knows what they are doing.
This is going to get expensive. :(
Unless anyone has any suitable ideas or suggestions?

I've only came back home, so no drinks for me tonight, sorry.
I had to pick up my car from the garage and do some christmas shopping on my way back.Almost run down Jogger on Leyton High Road, but he managed to wiggle out, bastard.
I'm going away on Sunday, so merry Christmas 'n tingz.
Lol. Hello mate, I was in grump having survived the Olympic carnage! Good to see ya, cheered me up when i realised you weren't blue badge!
Gotta try and make New years beers, new pub sounds nice. -

Can't you just pay few quid to some tramp to settle permanently in the garage and... mind the gap? You know, like a troll under a bridge?

My brother and I managed to bounce/force the door enough so that he could crawl under it and release the handbrake to the car. (It did help that I told him I was less worried about the damage to the spoiler than I was the garage door).
The door was then stuck in the up position, complete with my front door keys in an unreachable position, and he managed to fix it and it now (fingers crossed) opens and closes okay.
Thank you to everyone on here for (a) being supportive and (b) making me laugh.

Nice to meet everyone last night. I had a good time, as I think everyone else did. Thank you also rhowe for your offer of a free drink.
Pity we didn't triumph at the quiz but at least 'east is east' beat 'east is dead' aye?

It was nice getting home to a house with no heating, forgot to top up the gas card. Extremely hard to go to work this morning.
Top evening , maybe because Sir Quinn was absent
