anyway, to get the thread back on track.. the Frank Herrety frame is really lovely, be interesting to see what it goes for. I don't think the Bottecchia will get its price despite the fact it probably should. and someone should have a bid on this just for the laughs, it's a superb frame with or without the paintjob it might well finish up cheap:

and this is exactly why i don't bother much with the forum any more. Too many people being too ready to knock someone rather than just enjoy sharing their knowledge about bikes. It's amazing how few people make the majority of the noise on here and it's sad that the people among those few who decide to act the billy big balls all the time come to dominate the tone of much of the day to day posting.
