  • ooof ooof!!

  • oeuf oeuf!!!1!

  • no, it's just the one egg.

  • They need a lesson from Gwyn in bar managment skills and general awesomness.

Is this a joke? Admittedly I am never there when Gwyn is working, but getting a drink in the Regent is akin to getting a hip replacement on the NHS.

  • it's all in the wrist.

  • You should go when Gwynn's working, then

    *that's at mashton

  • ^all his tricks are

  • Stalker.

*that's at markyboy (through his window)

  • I agree the Effra has gone slightly downhill..particuarly the food...still my local though and there's always at least 1 forumenger in there.
    I miss the Brixtonian.

  • The jazz woman on a Sunday is really annoying with her scatting. Still a good spot though

    Does Pisti know?

  • as if sundays arent depressing enough already, they have to go and make it worse... with jazz.

Isn't it what is now SW9? Round the back of M&S

  • was it?.... i have vague recolections of going upstairs to a loft type space.
I was probably passed out at home and dreaming all of this anyway, so i'm probably completely wrong.

  • SW9 has been called that for a long time though...
Brixtonian is that rum bar in beehive place

  • ^ that sounds more like it.

  • and probably why i have no recolection of where it was.

  • Not sure whether to start a new thread for this (terrified of starting new threads)

Anyone know what it's like to live (rent) in the area between Peckham Rye and New Cross Gate? Basically all the roads of terraced houses to the south of Queen's Road. Looked at a few houses there over the last few weeks, generally seems nice, wondered if anyone has anything to add?

They're coming up at around £1600pcm (3 bed, garden etc), sound about right?

  • It's fine.
