Get yourself along to North drinks on Tuesday evenings, I know Clara is a frequent visitor, or if you fancy a longer ride come to South Drinks on Monday in Clapham which is my local(ish) drinks
@cafewanda that ride has a hill in it you know ;-)

Hi,
I'm newbie here. I am curious whether a vintage 19.5" bike is suitable for me, 5'5" tall. Where can I find vintage mixte bikes except one of 'hilarystone'?
Thanks!

The sizing sound suitable, car boot sales, relative, ebay, gumtree to name but a few that may sell those mixte.
Hilary Stone is a good bloke to have a butcher at those mixte bicycles though.

No problem. I will HTFU and climb it with ease.

Afternoon all!
Just popping in to introduce myself! Am well pleased to find a section for the ladies (although in my head that sounds like one of those terrible wedding dj types saying "this one goes out for the ladies")
anyhoo...have been cycling since I was about 3 but just bought My First Singlespeed, a Charge Plug and am really, really loving how it's totally switched up the cycling experience for me. You'd think it was just get on, turn pedals but it isn't...but at the same time, it's been very easy to adapt to the one gear, even in this rubbish weather we've been having. It was my office party a few weeks ago and I deliberately avoided getting drunk so I could ride my new bike to work and back!
Will be looking up some drink meet ups I reckon. I fear my fitness levels may not be up to group rides!

Welcome! my first SS was a plug as well - great fun to ride.
Come to drinks, where are you based? -
• #169
Am in Tottenham so North or East drinks would suit...although there looks like heated debate about the East venue and the north pub in Highgate? First major hill on my plug!
Will try and get along soon though!

The easts is totally worth going to, in my opinion.

Am a fan of the Royal Sov (and pub quizzes) if that's where it stays!
