Hey Skully, been a while - you well?
Question - do you stamp all your chops nowadays with a 'marque'? Saw a stolen chopped brooks (honey brown) - i hate this prick, a guy based opposite the cat and mutton. However with no markings it's hard to do anything. My gf had both of her brooks nicked, and i found her stolen seatpost there 2 weeks later. That i DID know was hers.
Anyway thought if you stamped yours it would be easier to claim them back...
I'd love to get mine done at some point btw - are you still near columbia market?

Cheers for nice feedback ross.
@kam hey mate, hope you are well fella.
I missed that comment til now. I always meant to do a stamp on the bottom of every one, but only sporadically remembered - it was a small 'S' around the middle underneath. What I always meant to do was just stamp a postcode/house number under there, and did this recently with a stamping job I did. What you mention is food for thought. Thing is, I'm not that likely to be able to I'D a suspect saddle to a particular person, but I'd know a chop I've done from the chainlink I use, it has a certain stamp on it, as I've only ever used a specific vintage chain I happened to break up bit by bit.

I deleted this as I was trying to add a pic to it but its not working so.......
Skully hooked mans up last week, made a good job out of my B17 which had gone really out of shape after getting soaked during my C2C ride in the summer.

Hi skully, John from the cycle course ere. these things look good, tag stamping too, nice touch.
have you weighed em in comp to the swallow? pointless i suppose as they're all heavy duty. great for the stylish town bikes though eh. may well give you a shout on one of these when i put my next bike together.
there's a bloke i met at the cycle show doing unique security key secure bolts for seats (and just about every other componentry) which you n your customers may be interested in. i'll look out the details if you need em. would be a shame for one to go missin after all the effort.
NB: Would send you a PM re the notTNRC posse but these forum rules mean I can't until I've served some kind of apprentiship.

Excited! LMNH may be offering the Skully Stamps applied to new Brooks saddles as an option in their new online store. LMNH are ace, really got the right idea about supporting the scene with their Jumble. Nice one Lew_redd, hope we can make this work in time for the Xmas pressie rush.

Getting nervours now. Skully is coming for it tomorrow and I'm not sure how much to shave. I'm thinking mullet, keep the back, trim the sides (but manage to keep the PRO logo) and leave the nose untouched.

I can also ingeniouly turn the leather I trimmed off it into a kind of stick, with the moon cleverly impaled thereupon.
