  • That was on last Saturday, love that film!

  • I thought I was the only one still wearing one of those. Perfect for this morning's ride - I just wrung the water out of it, popped it on the radiator, and job done.

  • awesome!

  • There can't be a lot of people that can pull off that look.

  • one can pull off to that look tho.

  • I insist, after you...

  • He looks like a sex predator...

    In a good way though.

  • I'm pretty sure I had the same outfit when I was five.

  • where can i make get odds on and make a bet on something that isn't sports?

  • Most large betting shops will let you bet on pretty much anything including I'm going to make it to 100 years old e.t.c.

  • sweet

  • what do you want bet to?

  • The chances of any thread on LFGSS not ending up with DJ taking on all comers. I am offering 500-1.

  • Dj is the new Godwin's law.

As a thread on lfgss.com grows longer the probability of DJ taking on all comers approaches 1.

  • Godwin's

  • Goowins was more apt.

  • I have an ubuntu computer, and I want to plug it into another computer via usb, and have it appear as a flash drive or external hdd (mapped to some folder). But, the ubuntu FS is EXT3, and I need it to appear as FAT32 or NTFS (I think). Is this possible and easy?

  • I'd probably start here
    http://www.samba.org/samba/what_is_samba.html
Should allow you to "see" some part of the file system on the Ubuntu machine as a network drive, which you can then map to a Windows folder

  • That only works over tcp/ip right? I basically want to plug my computer into my TV (which expects content on a flash drive)

The tv also supports dlna and the computer also has hdmi, but I think if I can get this to work, this'll be the best solution.

  • If the TV is expecting to see an actual USB disk drive when you plug something into its USB port, you're going to have a hell of a task trying to make a PC fake it, at least in part because the USB port on the PC thinks it's a host, not a device. It is going to be much easier to treat the TV as a monitor attached to the PC than to treat the PC as a disk drive attached to the TV.

  • That's a shame. I was hoping there was some clever program I could download that could do all the necessary faking. Wasn't finding anything on google though.

  • sorry rik, I read in the metro that some bloke has made a bet that he will still be with his girlfriend when they finish university in 3 years time, at 6/1, he put £100 on it.

i thought, that that would be a piece of piss as me and my missus have been together for 4 years and have just started uni, £100 each, 6/1 = badass holiday once we graduate.

    or track bike

  • yo!
whats the name of that software that lets you take music off your ipod when you've accidently deleted it from your computer? Itunes only works one way doesn't it?

  • I think i'm thinking of ephpod...
