I thought I was the only one still wearing one of those. Perfect for this morning's ride - I just wrung the water out of it, popped it on the radiator, and job done.

Most large betting shops will let you bet on pretty much anything including I'm going to make it to 100 years old e.t.c.

The chances of any thread on LFGSS not ending up with DJ taking on all comers. I am offering 500-1.

Dj is the new Godwin's law.
As a thread on lfgss.com grows longer the probability of DJ taking on all comers approaches 1.

I have an ubuntu computer, and I want to plug it into another computer via usb, and have it appear as a flash drive or external hdd (mapped to some folder). But, the ubuntu FS is EXT3, and I need it to appear as FAT32 or NTFS (I think). Is this possible and easy?

I'd probably start here

Should allow you to "see" some part of the file system on the Ubuntu machine as a network drive, which you can then map to a Windows folder -

That only works over tcp/ip right? I basically want to plug my computer into my TV (which expects content on a flash drive)
The tv also supports dlna and the computer also has hdmi, but I think if I can get this to work, this'll be the best solution.

If the TV is expecting to see an actual USB disk drive when you plug something into its USB port, you're going to have a hell of a task trying to make a PC fake it, at least in part because the USB port on the PC thinks it's a host, not a device. It is going to be much easier to treat the TV as a monitor attached to the PC than to treat the PC as a disk drive attached to the TV.

That's a shame. I was hoping there was some clever program I could download that could do all the necessary faking. Wasn't finding anything on google though.

sorry rik, I read in the metro that some bloke has made a bet that he will still be with his girlfriend when they finish university in 3 years time, at 6/1, he put £100 on it.
i thought, that that would be a piece of piss as me and my missus have been together for 4 years and have just started uni, £100 each, 6/1 = badass holiday once we graduate.
or track bike
