I am very impressed if you are not fibbing. When I eat noodles I have 2x100g packs and I used to think this was a lot.
You should upgrade to fresh pasta, even more filling for the carb monster.

interesting... two belt holes tighter in a few weeks is as easy as cutting out the morning toast and unnecessary pints*
*necessary pints still consumed...

As of today, I've decided to limit my drinking to 2 days a week til xmas.... other than that I'm not going to change my lifestyle. I think it will have an effect. Probably quite a big one.

Depends really, for example:
Sunday-Thursday you have nothing.
Friday and Saturday you have 40 pints, 3 bottles of wine, 8 Tequila's and a rum punch.
I suggest that you are not going to be making much of a difference.
If on your two days you only have a couple of glasses of wine then yep, you'll probably see a big difference.

I was 81.6 kg when I started keeping a daily record at the start of August, I gave up drinking at that time also.
Since then I have stayed just about spot on 81kg, but I have been going to the gym 4-6 days a week.
I've lost around 4" around my waist, and a lot of fat overall.
I've put a lot of muscle on as well, which is no great surprise I suppose.
Anyway- I think that without hitting the gym so hard I'd have lost a lot of weight.

Is it a bad sign (*) that I read that as 2 hours a day?
(*) Not sure for who

I seem to have gone nowhere:

Maybe you'e be better off using the time that it takes you to measure and map running up stairs?
I've completed my first week of only drinking 2 days a week.
-
• #916
It certainly looks -from that graph- like I've totally wasted the money I spent on gym membership.
How did your two days a week plan work for you?
-
• #917
how many days a week do you drink normally?
-
• #918
i just ate a mango and 2 packets of jaffa cakes - i feel ill.
-
• #919
It probably averages 5 days/week and its never just a glass of wine/1 pint.... Abstinence is just miserable, but 2 days a week seems spot on. It means you don't miss out on stuff, but you don't overdo it. Eg I'm at home atm and not at the pub. This is a good thing.

dont just say two days though.. because you could over do it. i don't know.. i don't drink that often, only when i meet with friends out side. take up going to coffee shops, or juice bars.

Obviously not.
-
• #923
Yeah, that comment was a little tongue in cheek.
I'm just a little cross with my magic scales that were alleged by their maker to use the magic of bio-electrical impedance to calculate body fat percentage for their obvious mendacity and all round shitness.

Oh I dunno, that's better than heavy drinking.

1lb away from my arbitary target weight. After Christmas I think I'll try and knock another 5lbs off to get me back to what I used to weigh 2 years ago, then I'm done. Total loss 17.6lbs over the last year.
Because it'll be like 3 kilos when cooked. Lot of pasta that.
