Ed what size wheels are on the Clements? they look small, I want something similar for an old 40-50's Triumph but I think the wheels are 650's. Also where are your mudguards from?
-

700c wheel with 30c tyres.
Mudguard from velo orange.

Cheers Ed, the vo stuff is pretty reasonable apart from the front rack, the old bicycle company has nice chrome rears at the mo, nos as well. I think I will try n squeeze some 700's, I'll be hard pushed to find pre-built 650/27" wheels with the sturmey drum/dyno hubs me thinks, any ideas?

the price of the front rack is pretty reasonable for a brand new chrome one.
you know you can try and use 26" wheel instead of 650(c or b?) wheel.

The rims are Rigida Zac21 bought on Ebay. Really nice rims!. Front hub is a vintage Renak and the rear hub is the Sturmey Archer SX3.
Thanks bro, been having real trouble with the rims.

^ I hear you the Paul is fugly , I meant quality racks in general seem expensive in comparison to say a rear hub of top quality seeing as they have no mechanics/ machining etc
This page has plenty of interesting porteur inspiration;
