I have 30s and they fit me like 32 jeans so yes, they come up one size bigger.
Do both the WWR 3/4 length and the short shorts come up one size bigger. I'm interested in the Short shorts

Well mine are the Short Shorts so I can definitely say they come up a size bigger. And Chris himself said the 3/4 shorts come up a size bigger. That was the whole reason I specifically waited until the Short Shorts came out in the first place because Chris said the 3/4 shorts would prob look like jacked up trousers on me.

Just got some WWR 3/4. I'm not sure about the sizing though. The waist size seems right (although like every one says i went down a size) and the cut around the leg seem great.
But I the crotch seems too high. I think I'm in between sizes so i usually err on the side of caution and go up rather than down a size, so usually have planty of room around me nadgers. I dont like jeans and haven't worn them for about 20 years and normally wear baggy combats. The 3/4's look as though they are similarly cut to what fitted jeans would be cut like so am not used to a high crotch (if this is what the 3/4's are supposed to be like)
Also the waistband "seems" a bit low (although the fitting around the waist feels perfect). The waist band is about 2" below my belly button. Should they be like this? I'm used to having the waistband higher on my trousers higher
I dont want to send them back, get the size up, just to discover I had the correct size in the first place.
(Do any London shops stock WWR 3/4 shorts so i could maybe go try sizes?)

Got my Milwuakee ES black yesterday and rode home at 11ish in it last night - lovely and toasty it was too. Judging by the temperature today it has arrived just in time. Thanks Chris!
My zip is slightly sticky though, is this normal or should I be worried? It's so well built, it would be really frustrating for the zip to bugger up.

Stickiness gone now.

Just to echoes how great the milwaukee hoodie are, I'm using itfor skiing.
Only need a couple baselayers to stay warm, not too hot or cold, just perfect and a lots more flexible than big ski jacket!

I'm finding even in this weather, just one (long sleeved) base layer is enough with the Milwaulkie. Open the under arm zips after 10 mins and you're still quite toasty.
-
• #135
There's an underarm zip on the milwaukee hoodie? I only have a couple holes there.
-
• #136
ed the latest hoodies have zips rather than metal eyelets.

Now that would've been useful for skiing!

I recommended the softshell over the gortex, slighty more breathable, lighter and flexible, our winter aren't as serve as the Milkwaukee one.
It's always tricky to know what size to buy but I'm 5'8" (177 cm?) and thinking about
getting the softshell in Small. How's the size? Should I go for a M? -
• #139
I'm 5'10" and my Small softshell is the biggest jacket I own. So much so I actually tried an XS recently - that turned out to be too short on the arms though...
[Disclaimer: I am a skinny fucker, and I'm not sure the sizing is always 100% consistent]

Cheers man, I'll order a Small then. I guess it's no harder than returning it if it shouldn't fit.

Indeed - and Chris is dead good with returns... :)

Anyone know of anywhere that currently stock their men's winter softshell 3/4 shorts (online stockist preferably)? Any pointers would be massively appreciated, ta!

Could be a daft question, but how cold does it have to be for you guys to wear your milkwaukees?
I think they look ace, but tend to run quite hot and sweat a lot so think even the regular hoodie might be a bit warm for me.

Yeah it's plenty warm. I don't get much cycling use of it here in the uk tbh, unless it's close to 0c or below
That said, it's a great jacket off the bike too

When it's the coldest, usually between November - February.
If you're looking for something to keep warm, their windbreaker work perfectly fine, especially when paired with a baselayer.

yeah it's bloody toasty, although the new ones have huge pit vents - thanks to those I wore mine with a sleeveless top mid Oct onwards.
Also, if you ski they're brilliant

seconded. he really does provide a great service.
I've had some of the jeans for about six months and they're still holding up well. I know what you mean about the cinch, when I first got them I wasn't too sure, but you don't notice them.
Excellent jeans, best I've ridden in
