It's stupidly light, without any weight on it, it hop all over the fucking road.

how do you stop it??
-
• #157
With two brakes on your bicycle, it's not that diffcuilt to stop a trailer, unless you're brakeless.
-
• #158
yeah Im asking when its loaded. surely wont be easy to stop with only two brakes on the bike
-
• #159
just cycle at a pace that's easy to slow down, I haul a fridge one (those small one), my weight and two working brakes is enough to stop it, however the brakes would need to be in good condition and/or disc brakes.

Did you not read the bit in the instructions about keeping the C of G infront of the axle of the trailer? ;)
Funny you should post that today though. I've just got back from the local car repair place - had some nuts welded on to the underside of my trailer's bed. Allows threaded inserts for attaching stuff, including my thule bike carrier!
There's loads of clearance (though the picture doesn't imply, camera angle)
I've also got a lockable plastic box that bolts down nicely too. -

I'm actually aware of that, however I was worried about the rear wheel coming in contact with the bike, unfortunately it's set too far back due to the plank of wood being too long and the front part of the bike rack have a gorge that stick out at the bottom restricting the position.
Once I saw the wood to it's appropriate length, it should be fine.
Netherless I still managed to cycle from Wimbledon to Clerkenwell without much effort.
