Streaming games (onlive style) will be the future, once it takes off and broadband providers stop paniking over P2P networking it will be good.
Also BB would need to be quicker and more stable, its hard enough watching movies streamed from lovefilm, with all the stop/start/stop
I fear we are a long way off though.
Sony are threatening cloud-based saves and updates (for psn+ subsribers) which would be an early start to pure DLG/ on demand services.

When mobile phones come with 42" screens and full surround sound, THEN I'll believe it.

Hurray Sky BB should be set up on the 1st of September. Sky man is coming today to sort out the TV then I'm on holiday for a week from Monday so it will be waiting for me when I return, oh yes!

I got a PS3 for my birthday this weekend, with uncharterd 2.

What a game, really cinematic, and if makes you jump out of you bones a lot.

Still coming to terms with a PS3 after all I've had an xbox 360 since the huge anti-climax of the wii.

Just picked up Demon's Souls for the PS3

It really is as punishing as everyone says.
Enemies attacks are just as strong as your own and your health is fuck all.
It's all about the skill and reflexes rather than arbitrary stats (though stats play a part as in any rpg).

When you die you go back to the start of the level (world) you were in and everything has respawned, and they knock your health down to 50% until you reclaim your soul from the place you died.

Hard but very fun, nice to have a real challenging game once in a while...

Demon's souls is probably the best RPG of the last ten years. It will haunt your dreams long after you've finished playing it, staying in the back of your mind like a half remembered nightmare for years to come. I still get a slight chill thinking about the tower of Latria
