  • Yesterday I went for a little spin in the new Jag XJ with my Dad whilst his was in for a service - they gave him the demonstrator for the day as a little teaser.
Beautiful car with alsorts of mad tech (dual view touchscreen, TFT dials, wireless music streaming from my phone, Bowers and Wilkins stereo etc etc...).
Muchos rapid too; 0-60 in 6 seconds thanks to 275bhp and 450 f/lbs of torque from a 3.0 diesel.

I really do like this car.
This and the XF are the first Jaguar's I have been excited about since the demise of the XJ-S.

  • It runs on liquidized dalmatians.

That was one of my first thoughts too.

  • Seriously though, this is one of my all time faves.

Not-Silver... Controversial... Blah Blah Blah... Not Italian... Blah...

  • More to point. WTF is it?

  • I've always had a softspot for the Ferrari Dino 308 GT4. (The ugliest Ferrari ever?)

I'd have this over an old 911.

Me too. Though wasn't it always a Dino 308 GT4, never a Ferrari?
And Bertone's wedge design doesn't work so well in Red, i prefer them in blue...

    or maybe 70s brown...

  • eugh...who would ever think a MR 2+2 would work?

  • Lotus.

Along with seemingly anyone who has reviewed it.

  • Did you see the BRM ELAN that recently came up for sale, one of 10 ever made and a guarantee of 130bhp.

  • yep - awesome.

i saw a +2s SHOOTING BRAKE!!! in Somme a couple of weeks ago.
saw a rr SB on the way back too.

  • Holy horse shitting jesus that's awesome!

  • not sure about the drive shaft between my legs though :O

I stand corrected. I'm a big fan of the evora and they've held their value suprisingly well

  • This.

    That is gorgeous! DB4 Zagato?

Just makes the ride a bit more interesting =P

    +1, awesome cars.

    That is gorgeous! DB4 Zagato?

    Indeed it is.

  • That is gorgeous! DB4 Zagato?

Looks a bit odd because of the steamed up headlamps.

Zagato are one of my fav styling houses. (Not so good on the rear/roof tho)

Always liked the 2002 DB7 Zagato.

  • My old Merc has had a terminal chassis failure - i cant be arssed to break it, anyone know how i can get a bit of cash out of scrapping it?

  • i really dislike most of the zagato stuff.
the db4 is good, but i'll bet you can't name three other zagato variants that improve on the more common version of the car.
look at the alfa junior - bertone/zagato. no competition.

  • a quick ggogle:

    the zagato 575:

  • I really dislike the thing they do where the bottom of the rear quarter window lines up with the top of the rear winscreen.

But that DB4 is still gorgeous.
