  • Nah, it's rusty. Controlled rust.

  • I thought Max Crowe was the original Cannondale Bad Boy?

    Great minds insult alike.

Can we bribe Hippy in vodka-soaked midgets to forcibly change Max's username to Cannondale Bad Boy?

  • Maybe we need a thread entitled "Good design gone bad"?

  • If you look under the bonnet and in the door handle it's still gloss paint.

  • Would've been fine if the ride height wasn't 'slammed' and didn't have 12 painted on the door.

    thats a beauty...

  • +1

I'd drive that all day long (if I could get in it)

  • Yesterday I went for a little spin in the new Jag XJ with my Dad whilst his was in for a service - they gave him the demonstrator for the day as a little teaser.
Beautiful car with alsorts of mad tech (dual view touchscreen, TFT dials, wireless music streaming from my phone, Bowers and Wilkins stereo etc etc...).
Muchos rapid too; 0-60 in 6 seconds thanks to 275bhp and 450 f/lbs of torque from a 3.0 diesel.

  • more drives in the TR6 this weekend, tested out its new suspension....
got to a decent speed on the road from upottery to Shute (dead straight) felt amazing!
probably the best drive of my life that car is:

    windy, windy, a sunny day
    waning, and baked tarmac
    cooling fast.

  • Fuck sake, another merge.

unsubscribed from car appreciation thread again

  • This.

Good innit, diesel is similar to the petrol till sixty and not that much in real life to the limited 155?

Used to love my TR6 (just realise it was 20 years ago when I had it!)
Mechanically the cheapest car I have owned. Had it two years and only spent £40 on it when the propshaft fell apart.
I wonder what it is up to these days...

  • i've (mis)appropriated it from my dad, who's back is too bad to drive it anymore, so I just take it out.

I doubt very much i'll own a car when I'm older, except if the TR's still around.

Rockin'! My Dad has a 356A GS/GT, my favourite Porsche I reckon! Love this one...

Just a wannabe...this is how you do it properly:

  • Fuck me that is fit. Want. changes aspirations

  • Not so much

  • it wants to have a jet engine in it.

  • Yeh, or a spitfire engine.

  • Or a leaf of lettuce...

  • I absolutely love it, wouldn't fancy driving anywhere other than a huge oval track though, maybe the old Monza track, mmm that would be awesome.

  • It runs on liquidized dalmatians.

  • Seriously though, this is one of my all time faves.
