I like that a lot.
Bloody hell. That is a delightful frame - looks reassuringly expensive. Would suggest some 1" carbon forks for brake reasons but would change/ruin the look...

A frame just arrived at my office.
This is for ladystardust, and I have a little concern that perhaps I won't be able to get bolt-on brakes for the aero forks. If that's the case then I'll probably be putting it up for sale, which would be a shame as it's really really stunning.
you've bought it for a lot of money and now you will install a clamp-on brake, please don't do that. it's a sprint keirin frame!
(btw, the dia compe clamp on brakes are available for aero-, round-, and oval forks)

Yes Skully, Brokks had never seen sew-on sleeves before. The guy (Im not naming!) asked in my mudguards were from Velo Orange. "So youve heard of VO then" thought I "Well look down their list for elk hide sew-on handlebar covers, cos thats what these are. Duh!"
Mass, Friday?

Great frame, David. Thought you'd decided to redress the fact that despite running an enormous FGSS site, you don't in fact have one of either, until I read the last sentence :)

Does it look purdy? I know there will be some solutions, but on this frame it really needs to have the aesthetics done right.
I got mine from hubjub, the promax thingies.
Thet have both oval and round clamps and aren't to expensive. The brakes themselves are a bit meh but you kan just fit any rear brake on it.
Couldmake some pics if you want. -

nice, i've just got that for my birthday. how is the paint holding up? my paint seems to chip and scratch really easily and it's not even built up yet
...the fork? paint is fine so far. Considered getting it resprayed silver to match the frame but I couldn't wait to get back on the bike. Think I like it as it is now.
Was your first batch or second? I gather the second were a fair bit lighter (these have the tapered fork legs). Only 'problem' I encountered was the guy that fitted the fork said he went through 2 hacksaw blades cutting the steerer and a drill-bit widening the hole to fit the brake.

no i meant the frame. the matte silve paint doesnt seem too tough on mine so I am considering getting it resprayed, but will probably leave it for a while yet. I love the original fork so will either work out a bodge clamp on brake option or just go brakeless.
Or a road bike, which all teh hipsters is diggin down horeditch man.
