I've been at home, in Beckenham, all day and it hasn't rained here at all. I'll head over to the track as normal at half 6 and see what's what.

It turned out to be a very good night in the end.
The individual pursuits were fun. If thats the right word. I was giggling when I got off my bike, before I collapsed, due to all the endorphins I guess -
• #338
My legs gave way compltely when I got off my bike after the IP, I've never experienced that before!
Was a good night, good races. -
• #339
oh no. I got ready to come down, Went outside and it was raining, road was wet so came back inside...Dam i was looking forward to it.

I really enjoyed it last night, some very fast racing. With Brian and Symon absent I think everyone felt they had more of a chance of winning and the open racing reflected that.
Still can't believe my IP time, I was convinced I was faster than the Rollapaluza track championships yet was given a time 2 seconds slower.
-
• #341
Exactly the same for me Andy. I was infinitely more tired last night that after the track championships. There was a bit of wind last night. I'm blaming it on that.
-
• #342
I was 3 seconds slower!

That and our failed attempt to liven up the 3 lap dash? :-)

• #344
We should get JC to calibrate the stopwatches.

You did liven it up, its just the whole bunch sat on your wheels. I enjoyed that very much, sat on the back spinning like a madman.
-
• #346
The plan was to get a gap though. We were sat behind 3 sprinters and assumed, wrongly, that they'd look to others to chase.
At least Mike podiumed so we can claim it was a tactic to ensure Rollapaluza success.
-
• #347
Yes and a very welcoming tactic it was too :)
-
• #348
I don't know how many points you'll get for that but morally a share of those points are mine and Tom's.
:-)

was there a Rolla plan for the 30 lap scratch as well? I saw you guys scuttle off with talk of 'team meeting' ...
on the IP I was a few seconds off the 3.50 I aimed for but it seems everyone was a little off the times from the rolla meet. from the point I was at we timed stuart h - in pointy helmet - at 3.38, then james s at 3.43 and iain c at 3.45. am presuming keith went in the 3.30s, what with his full pursuit kit. simon warren did 3.41.
