Its probably because it would be almost impossible to fit 700 wheels in a track frame which was 48 by 48, with small frames the toptube is often longer.

Haven't looked at it, but by the sounds of it it could be a pursuit frame designed to have a long seatpost. A low pro, basically.

Yeah I did, I was away and had to leave it with a high max bid to make sure I won it. Will shortly be selling two other frames now to help raise funds.

I think this has been relisted several times; Hewitt branded track frame fork bars and stem that looks to just be a rebadged Ridley Oval with cloverleaf downtube etc. £250 or offer.

Anyone heard much about them/ridden them? Interweb tells me the guy was a pretty snacky mechanic and competed back in the day. Looks like he's connected to Specialized as well. I just couldn't find much talk about the frames themselves. All the seller knows is it's for grass track and made of columbus aelle which seems fairly low end in the columbus line.

Any opinions would be ace.
