Hello all, been lurking round a little while now and thought I'd start making proper use of it!
I'm Jess, 21, Birmingham...spent a good while living in London though so the roads here are appalling in comparison! Riding a SS Raleigh which I'm converting atm (need a fixed sprocket!) and am about to start a polo build too. Been blogging for a little while at http://femmepedale.blogspot.com - just trying to encourage more ladies to get on their bikes (not just when the bloody sun comes out!). So yeah...HI!

Im Sam, 27 yrs old & Been checking out the Forum for a while now and just joined as I have just started to convert an old MBK Racer I got me hands on for very cheap that just happens to be the perfect fit for me.

Got a few questions etc already but gonna give it another go myself before asking for help!

nyquil, born and raised in Yardley, lived all over (London, Sydney and NYC briefly) and now residing in Selly Park so not far from you. Silver Bianchi eh? Do you go down the Pershore Rd to get into town, you might be the chap who keeps trying to race me and my housemate!? Seen a lot of you Bianchi folk around lately!

Mentions of Moseley and Selly Park - you might just make me homesick. Having flashbacks of the Prince of Wales in Mose and the Bengalese restaurent opposite fitness first. But then as already stated Brum is a horrible horroble plce to ride so maybe not!

Hi, just wanted to say hello and what a great site this is. I've been riding SS for the last 5 years commuting daily on an old 531c Mike Mullett. Have now clocked up 25000miles on that but have just put together my first fixie for a bit of fun then maybe I'll sell it to fund another project.

First ride today.....was pretty scary but fun, is that normal! Sort of went like this....I love it....its trying to kill me.....I love it....I'm gonna die! Still in one piece though.
