It's rejected (as a vote) and counted (as a spoilt ballot).

You can't spoil a vote without it being rejected. That is the purpose of spoiling a vote.
A vote can only be accepted if it is there is a clear and reasonable indicator that the voter would like their vote to be counted for one candidate only (excepting certain local and regional polls) without prejudice. Everything else is rejected as a spoiled paper and therefore counted as such.

Guess it should be reasonably clear by 1/2am if conservatives have done it. There's a chunk of low priority conservative targets then.

I voted lib dem. And a policeman watched my bike. Secure parking is always nice.

If you voted LD, he probably pissed on your saddle.

With the current shift in polling figures and an anticipated increase in turnout, I think there will be more close calls which usually result in a secondary count. Don't expect anything before 4am.

The Norwegian Party. It's all about the industrial reinvestment rate.

That picture of Cameron on the Mirror's front page is telling, because at the age Cameron was smashing up restaurants as part of the Bullingdon Club, Gordon Brown was campaigning to raise the living wages of university cleaners, and to stop investment in South Africa.
I believe at that age Brown was also busy boring his then girlfriend Princess Margarita of Romania to tears, what a commoner.

Fuck me! Who goes out on the campaign trail with a group of thugs to back you up?
Err....the BNP?

And the biggest icon of the day award goes to:
A picture of an upside down plane in a field in Oxfordshire. This may be the most coverage that UKIP have had since it turned out that Robert Kilroy-Silk is an egotistical cunt.

Yeah, apart from the reposting, its not exactly news is it? BNP candidate is a cunt shocker...
-
• #893
And getting dangerously close to the BNP, this little nugget from the BBC on Farage's plane crash.
Pictures from the airfield showed the Polish-built light aircraft was left lying upside down, with its cockpit badly damaged.

I love the way that people like this think they can gain hero status by playing up to the cameras and then cry when they get dealt with.
Problem is that now all the BNP supporters will be going on about how he was "standing up" for whites or some such tripe.

I am going out to vote now. And when I honour generations of tradition and give thanks to all those who died so that I might have my say and I put my X in that box and sneakily wet my undies I know I will have done my duty.
-

I wore grey trousers to vote so, whilst I sneakily wet my undies, it was clear for all to see where I'd made my mark.
