F*** no! The front mech is utter garbage. 105 and up, Centaur and up FTW.

• #25403
sram... no way. sorry but i think its the most clunky kit, i hate double tap, its so loud and laborious. IMO of course

• #25404

finally got round to taking a crap picture. still need to get some road shoes and pedals, and make a few fitting adjustments. but we'll see how long it is before i sell this to fund something else
Good work. What size is that? Is it the biggest?
shimano dont fit my feet
Shame we can't get Sidis in. You should check out the road equivalent of Mavic Razors (assuming you have a Sidi foot like me) they are comfy.

but they get smelly quicly unlike sidi's. too much padding.

size is 61 which is the biggest. we can special order sidi i think but we have to pay upfront. also shimano and mavic have a similar fit. i had a pair for a month and they gave me some fucked up blisters on my little toes, and the heels are too wide. beside if i were getting mavic i'd get zxelliums
-
• #25411
Weird, I find Mavic really similar to Sidi but don't get on with Shimano at all. Had no idea we could get Sidi... that is good news.

im not 100% i called big bear and asked, and they said yes, but i would check with the guys at bike purchasing before ordering them
-
• #25413
Course. I don't exactly need a new pair yet anyway! Cheers man

2 projects on the go, Storck Road Bike and Cross bike made by me! Sorry for the crap photos
Now to start groupset purchasing, got pretty much everything else for the road bike but nothing for the cross bike, can't decide on what wheels to go for.

Flash git
(hides own Zxelliums to avoid accusation of flashiness)
I seem to be able to wear pretty much anything with no problems - Sidi, Shimano, Nike, Mavic, Lake

Finally. I have got hold of the aluminium square taper version of my cranks for my fixed gear (Stronglight 49D). Finally, no more cotter maintainance.

On that note, For sale, very rare 1950's Stronglight 49A cranks with stunningly perfect chrome and cotter pins...

How much, Mc nebula? I could have swopped you for one of my spare sets of square taper 49ds if only I'd known.
However.. beware! This happened to one of mine. No impact, just internal corrosion.

Storck Road Bike.
The Storck Scenario 1.1 frameset, is on clearance at a local bikeshop (well its in the same country as me at least ;) ). I am massively tempted to get one for my heavily delayed roadie project, instead of going XACD Ti. I'd love to hear any veiws you had on the frameset.
so, how much did you pay?
