I might stick your wheels on the Ches, keep it an all campy Vs dura ace affair :-)

kl i will bring it when i bring the axle kit. which will probably be sunday now by the looks of it

  • ok, whenever is good for you - i appreciate the effort this has taken!

  • Nice Chesini...

  • @RHB are you a masochist or what?

Not sure... have you seen my flail anywhere?

  • Get it resprayed

Why do not swap it for a Charge Plug straight away, eh? :-$

  • gettin closer to bein finished now, just the chain and sprocket left!

  • Quick update on the dog bike. New wheels (flip flop 48/16), forks and chain....I'm addicted and cannot stop doing things to it.

  • why don't you have any toeclips??

  • Not much of a project (only have to put the seat up....) but I am a happy bunny. Oh yes.

    Needs risers

  • why don't you have any toeclips??

Who me? Right - I'll get some ASAP. Consider it done.

  • @ gangsta crumpets
    what rims are they?
(i thought that was the poor dog wedged under the wheel in the 2nd pic)

  • love the mustache bridge

    +1

And straps! otherwise riding fixed with no foot retention is just dangerous.

    Nice bike by the way!

nah, not if you have a brake... not ideal but not disasterous unless you're running a spinny gear, i regularly nip out for a spin with my spd shoes on and can still skid stop (i run a brake too though)

  • @ Jambon: The rims are some cheepies off ebay over here in Oz . . brand is "Stars Circle" and they cost around AU$80 for the set. See ebay item # 400105759682. They come in anodized blue and white too. You just have to peel off the silly stickers.

@ Re-Cycled: Yes, absolutely agree. I've got the hub on freewheel for now untill me and the dog get better acquanted with the setup and then I'll flip it to fixed down the track.

Cheers, and thanks for the compliments.

Ye i probably exagerated saying it was "dangerous", but its certainly not advisable :)

  • I'd say it is dangerous. You need two brakes; one front brake works, and your feet on a fixed wheel does too, but I think you need to be attached to the pedals.

  • this looks like a lot of fun.......

  • Looks like a road-going 70s exercise bike.

  • no it looks like a fuckin mess!

  • OSCC too...

  • Stop posting that feckin bike

  • just realised I'm a bit late on this one.

I only just caught up with the 'bent'-paintjobgate from last week. This thread exhausts me.

@eoinmc ... did ted build that? Looks like his moustache ... is he going to make that his signature bridge!? He should.
