  • the cat likes your shoesies

  • WTF is that!? :-(

  • Despite me posting it, it's not mine, that's for sure!!

  • Thanks for the kind comments Guys,Just so happens I have found out both Carltons have Brampton headsets.

  • pifko youre not breaking in bournemouth to eyesores like that surely???.........

  • Finally got the 29er finished off. Despite the monster truck looks, I reckon it only weighs around 8.5 kg. Should be fun.

Shite phone pics cuz I'm lazy, and all of our cameras need charging.
Indoor pics cuz its dark outside most of the time.I'll try and take some nice 'natural light' pics the next time I see the sun.
Then the true hideousness of the mismatched componentry will shine through.

  • pearson is almost done now got the record titanium pedals, headset and bars are all taped up, just waiting on the chainring and front wheel, and need to fit the tub on the back wheel.

BUT!!!! does anyone know where to get christophe clips in london?

also i have just a shitty kalloy seatpin on it at the moment, but does anyone know of a decent classic style seatpost that is longer than 250mm????? (Nuknow, DMCzone and dutchcheese this is mainly aimed at you, or any other member i forgot who has a good knowledge of classic bikes?)

yes it is,finished few days ago...it supposed to be just black and white but in the end i decided to put some colour!

    people didnt like apparently....

  • Campag didn't make long road posts I'm afraid fred.

  • i was aware of that*, but it doesn't neccessarily have to be campag, although it would be best for the bike really.

    damned short legged italians

  • I think they would just say so need a bigger frame :P

  • Hi I'm new to lfgss, I have just finished building up a new fixie so I figure why not show it here. It's an old Holdsworth Monsoon frame that was really rusty so I got it resprayed. I've built it up with basic components mainly stuff off my previous fixie. I tried to keep it old school racer looking.

Said it once but I'll say it again, nice build Andy- good to see the frame bought back to life ;-)

  • double tap, can i try your bike out for size?

i think i remember reading its the 54, would like to see how too big it is for me....

trying to work out if the 52 is small enough...

  • I think they would just say so need a bigger frame :P

ha! and to that i would say, when you find one as nice for that price let me know.

  • Done. Ready for March 6th. Really excited now.

March 7th Steve, Saturdays are noddy day and you can't ride a plastic bike with the beginners and intermediates ;)

  • ha! and to that i would say, when you find one as nice for that price let me know.

and to that I would say, OKAY!

  • and then i would wait, and maybe by the time my knees had given out you would find me one

  • Whats your budget?
I know of one (serious head on).

  • I can offer chromed Christophe toeclips.

    They're size large.

  • hmm the large pair may be perfect dmczone, how much you thinking?

can you get them in an xl? i have big man sized feet

  • does anyone know of a decent classic style seatpost that is longer than 250mm???

I'm pretty sure Laprade fluted posts came in 300mm at the start of the MTB boom of the 1980s, the SR clones certainly did.
